8 ways of looking at a clock
I. I move to the tick,click,tick
Too slow or too fast
Trying to please
The master clock.
II. Tick tock tock
The mouse ran up the clock.
III. It could only go one way,
The right way
And the clock doesn’t seem to give up.
IV. The sound of the clock
Tick Tock, Tick Tock
Makes the students egerd
As the soon neared.
V. The time goes slowly and
I just wait the
Clock moves faster.
VI. Tick Tack goes again
What makes it move?
VII. The clock moves and
My life moves with it.
VIII. The clock has 12 hours.
Every minute makes you anxius.
Makes you keep track.
It helps you throug your day
Everytime the big hand moves
A minute of your life goes by.

Thanks, Glenda, for puttting this up. For readers: this is a class collaboration inspired by Wallace Stevens's Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Blackbird. Each member of the class wrote one stanza (that includes me).
